It is with sadness that I write to advise you of the recent passing of Ernie Moran.

Ernie was a stalwart of Portobello District. Ernie started as Cub Scout Leader at the 18th Portobello (St Johns) in 1971 and was District Commissioner in Portobello for over 15 years across two separate stints.

Ernie’s funeral took place on Wednesday 14 December 2022 at St John’s the Evangelist Church, 35 Brighton Place, Portobello, EH15 1LT.
