It is with great sadness that I write to advise you of the death of our District Vice President Bob Robinson.

Bob started as an adult volunteer with the 2nd Portobello as an Assistant Scout Leader over 65 years ago. Bob had lengthy commitment to both uniformed Leadership roles and District Management roles over a considerable number of years.

As well as Bob’s other interests in Scouting, he had been passionate about awards, medals and memorabilia which he enthusiastically and willingly shared with anyone who was interested.

In August 2021, Bob was awarded the Silver Wolf which is only awarded for service of a most exceptional nature.

He served with distinction in all these roles and he will be sadly missed for his wise counsel.
