The entire site at Fordell Firs site has been booked for our 2023 Edinburgh North East District Camp from
Friday 16 – Sunday 18 June 2023.
We have also asked Longcraig to reserve this weekend for water activities for us. I would like to hold a District Camp Planning Meeting on Sunday 27th November 2022 at 7pm at Greenside.
It would be great to have a representative of each section from every group.
It was recently suggested that catering is provided centrally for the District Camp. This would involve in a single payment per young person and they would receive all meals from a catering team based in the Henderson Building. This arrangement would certainly free up valuable time for leaders to do other things, but I’m interested to hear everyone’s view on this proposal. At this meeting, I’m hoping that we can discuss and agree costs, deadlines, and activities and share the responsibilities of organising this exciting event.
