It is with sadness that I write to advise you of the recent passing of Hamish Gillon. Hamish held many roles within Scouting including District Chairman of Leith District, Treasurer of Scottish Scouting and was a member of the UK Finance Committee of the Scout Association. He served with distinction in all these roles and gave great service in his usual unassuming way to Scouting in Scotland and further afield. He will be sadly missed for his wise counsel.
