It is with sadness that I write to advise you of the recent passing of Kenny Moyes.

Kenny was a Cub, then a Scout, becoming a Rover Scout and then a leader at 1st Portobello Scout Group (now 101st ENE Restalrig Group). He was the Group Scout Leader there up until 2000 when he retired from Scouting.

Kenny was my GSL and friend for many years and I enjoyed lots of camps and happy times with him. He certainly enjoyed his time in Scouting and changed the lives of numerous young people over his time.

He told me recently that he didn’t like funerals so any service will be very private.
